Luck favors the prepared. Most definitely. When you work the energy of what you want first, even if that means you have an intention, and are willing to play the game.
Being prepared isn’t always hard work. Yes, it can be hard work for some things, but when you are committed to what you want to create, and are 100% there, showing up, and in your integrity, that %100 is actually easy. It is a joy, because you chose it to be.
Like rehearsing a dance move that you want to perfect for your performance, or creating a wonderful, magical getaway weekend, or even just finding perfect parking in an impossible situation, being present, and in a loving, positive state will get you there. Sometimes, you have to put a lot of great energy into it, and then pull it all back, so that it can be a bit neutral (devoid of you LOL!). Then, you can forget about it, and allow it to manifest, how it needs to, without effort. Effortless manifestation!
It doesn’t mean that you don’t do your homework, figure out what you want, watch your thoughts, and get them in line, on a positive note.
Some things that we forget in manifesting are
Loving yourself. Unconditionally. Asking for help. Letting go of the how it manifests itself. Trusting the universe. Trusting your angels, and guides.
Yesterday was a holiday, and my dear friend called and asked if I wanted to go to the pool where she swims. It was one of the hottest days this year, and while I was in the middle of working on my computer for Spirit In Joy, I love to swim, and visit with her! She also said that the entire parking lot was full, and I would need to park far away, down the hill, and walk up many blocks to the pool area. I had a long drive to get there.
It was too hot, and my sandals were so worn out, I don’t think they would make it. Usually I like the exercise, but not today!
As I drove from Pinole to Orinda, I kept asking my intuition, and my guides to help. I asked “Is someone leaving soon? Should I just show up? Should I wait a bit? Can you help me? What should I do?
I did sense help on the way, and as I drove closer, had a “certainty” that I should drive right in, and try my luck. It was not only full, but brimming over, and there were various cars waiting, like I would be. I sensed to go to the opposite side of the lot from everyone else, and I did. And then I waited, about 30 seconds, and a man walked over, and motioned to me, that he was leaving! I had to drive in reverse about 20 cars, which I excitedly did, and drove into a tree shaded spot, waving blessings to him. I had a glorious time with my friend, and it taught me a few things.
I had to leave the house, and all my habits, to go have fun. I had to show up. I had to ask for help. I had to wait, expectantly, but had fun doing it. I had to let myself own it, and not feel bad about me getting to have the good spot! I even had to reverse my path a bit to get there! I had to give thanks. And of course, to have amazing fun, to be present to enjoy it. Which I did. I had no plans on this hot, end of summer holiday, and was so grateful for my friend who called and invited me.
Later, I put the experience in the file folder of my mind, entitled “Beliefs about life”, under “I can easily co-create”.
This is a very simple story, and fortunately I can also create larger, more empowering things as well, both for myself, and for other people, and the planet. It is good to explore in yourself, your limits , about what you think you can create, how grand, and where you are presently. Push those limits, and you will see that they are indeed moveable! Remember, that we are always creating, both the wonderful, and the drama filled. The amazing, and the so so. The horrible world, and the kind world. The harsh changes, and the soft ones.
You can create something small, or something large and life changing, in the same way.
Self esteem comes from doing things you're not sure that you can do.
Many of the rules are exactly the same, especially …Show up, ask for help, believe you can have it, and be prepared to act. Check your thoughts, and beliefs, and of course, give thanks.
Luck favors the prepared. So do your homework, and then just relax, and enjoy the ride!
I'll be teaching a manifesting workshop in Berkeley this Saturday, if you are interested. What have you been manifesting? More info on the Classes page. Enjoy your creations! ~Helena
