Hello! Our theme for March is luck, and it is such a
great topic to muse about! St Patrick’s’ Day, a good luck four leaf clover,
leprechauns, rainbows, and the pot of gold at the end of it! I was eating a
piece of chicken while thinking about what to write; it was my first hungry
bite. I laughed when I pulled out a little bone from my mouth. It was the big
part of a “y” shape of a tiny wishbone! Just enough of a symbolic hint that I
was on the right track, and a reminder of all the little marbles, pennies,
crystals, strings of red yarn, and other symbols of luck I have kept on my
altar, or in the pocket of my jeans. Oh, I could go on and on with the
symbolism….that you and I both use, and love, and enjoy; even those little
triggers and synchronicities that you are on the right track, like your favorite
song playing on the radio right when you turn it on, or finding
money!
Luck Favors The Prepared!
I do believe, though, that we create our own luck, and that where
we put our attention, energy goes. I teach a class on MANIFESTING AND MIRACLES!
after our Angel Fair, and we do practice specific techniques to manifesting, and
they work! The bottom line in manifesting, and having good luck, are those inner
beliefs that you have; that luck exists, that you love yourself, and that you
deserve it. It also involves setting your intention, even if it means about what
kind of day you want to create. A positive attitude is the key. Do acknowledge
source energy, your Angels, and guides, and your own Higher self. Be flexible as
to how things will manifest. Also, you have to play to win. Show up. Be present.
Be aware. If you want more luck, take more chances. Do your homework (practice
creating those little, minor miracles, and validate yourself, acknowledge,
appreciate! Gratitude is one of the building blocks, so is a willingness, and
an openness, to receive. Yes, be willing, and open. But being in your body, and
being grounded, also helps!! Work on those things, and I guarantee you will have
better luck.
Luck can often mean simply taking advantage of a situation
at the right moment. It is possible to
make your luck by
always being prepared.
~~~Michael Korda
When things are in effortless synchronicity, it’s easy to have
luck rain on you like that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. When it’s the
opposite, and things are sticky, in effort, and it seems like a bad luck storm
cloud above you, with nothing going right, it could be the universe telling you
to stop pushing in that direction; to slow down, or stop, for a bit. Adjust,
shift, wait, and work the energy. Maybe that’s the Supreme Beings way of saying
“there’s something better for you a bit down the road”.
Remember that sometimes
not getting what you want
is a wonderful
stroke of luck.
