We are waking up. Just like in the morning, when we become aware that we are awake, with the cozy covers over our heads. Coming out of a dream, we start to think, and are aware of our own presence, that it is time to wake up. We start to decipher the dream state, from the waking state.
How do you wake up?
Instead of an alarm, I have the radio set on a jazz station, and it gives me an hour, to make the transition. (I set it way before I need to be up). I wake up enjoying, as the dream state goes into the background. My cat, Kramer, is already trying to get me up to feed him, by licking my face, and pawing at my nose. Grateful, I set the energy of my day, and pull myself back from the astral plane. I watch my thoughts carefully, and gently guide them back on the track of positive, loving, and in present time. For me, this is very important, to "set" the energy of my day. I am patient with myself, to stay conscious, because it is how I wish to live my life, and to create from that space. Of course I lose it and regain it dozens of times throughout the day, but it helps me to stay on track, to create the life I want. I want to be alive, clear, and powerful. Asking "what if"? Trusting in myself, challenging my life, being my best. Making changes, even scary ones. Surrounding myself with vibrant, positive, supportive people, and being one of them. Acting as if. Being alive. Feeling and experiencing everything, even sorrow, and anger, and learning from my mistakes. And loving. And trusting. And being power-full.
BECOMING. It is a verb. A process.
Many people wake up from sleep where there is no pain (physical, and emotional), and no stress. So waking up becomes an awful task of painful reality, with its accompanying thoughts, consciousness, and avoidance of anything harsh.
That unconsciousness is your death.
Repetition deadens awareness.
That unconsciousness will eat your one wild and precious life!!
Watching stupid tv, overeating, horribly negative, blaming thinking, or victim consciousness, becomes a thickly ingrained habit, that leaves a "caul" over our eyes, and drugs us. It drugs us to feel less, to stay the same, motivated by fear.
As a psychic, I see that unconsciousness as a sticky, or foggy, grey energy. Usually the person is reacting from their default mode, of the old patterns, of the lowest common denominator, which makes change impossible, unless it is forced upon them, or comes at them.

Meditation helps get you out of the fog. Exercise does too! So does changing your routine. Even taking a short vacation (either from your home, or from your negative friends, or from the things you do that keep you stuck, like hours of TV, online games, non nutritious foods). Go and get a healing, or better yet, get a meditation habit going, or beef up the one you already have!
Your positive, life affirming, "Let's get out of your comfort zone" thoughts are so vitally important, and so valuable, in your motivation, awakening, thriving, joy, and grace. While you are the awareness behind your thoughts, and emotions, (you are spirit in a body), your vitality depends on the fuel you use in this beautiful body of yours.
To wake up we need to feel everything, but we also need to start somewhere.
I teach a meditation in the body class, called running energy. It is an amazing tool to get you in there. In there meaning in your body, pushing out the unconscious energy, the old, stuck pain, old limiting beliefs, and other peoples pictures, cords, and energy. What's left is you, in present time, set at amusement, healing yourself, and a high growth energy vibration.
So why do my beginning students have such a hard time sitting down, with their eyes closed for 20 minutes, or a half hour every day? Even when they know the wonderful peace, and clarity, and freedom that awaits them?
Even when they watch TV or have mindless unfulfilling conversations with others, for hours that same day?
Every week in our by phone class, the students tell me the same story, that they wanted to, but all this busyness
got in the way. LOL! Especially right at the time they set up to meditate, and find their space. Find their space is really a better name for it, because, for you to get back in your body, right behind your eyes, you may need to push through some sticky, unconscious, energy that has kept you out, and "unavailable". Maybe there is some pain in there, or some low vibration garbage, (which may or may not be yours), or some not so loving, maybe even abusive thoughts.
Every day, you get a new chance to change your life, and be who you came here to be. And every second, of every minute, of that day, you get a new chance. Every second!
You are giving your self permission to create, to have power, to change, to create, and to co-create, from your highest purpose, motivated by love, instead of by fear. Getting out of your comfort zone, can be scary, yes, indeed, but oh, it is so worth it.
It is so worth it!!
It is the new year, and you get a new chance, right now.
For me it is hard to begin, to exercise, or begin a new project, but once I am on that bike, out in the hills enjoying nature, and getting healthy, pumping my lungs with fresh oxygen, wow! I am rejuvenated, and I am carving out a new habit, re-grooving those neurons, and synapses in my brain, and building new muscles.
Let's get rid of the grey, unconscious energy, that keeps us coddled, and safe, and asleep. Give yourself permission to truly awaken, and become your best.
We need you!
(ok, I'm off to ride my bike now, and later, to meditate. After that, I will share some time with a couple of powerful women, who support me to be my best. They will accept no less.)
